Dusting
About once a month, use a hairdryer on a cool setting to gently remove dust from petals and leaves. This is especially useful for lighter shades, where dust is more visible. Darker tones may disguise it better, but they benefit just as much. For any marks, a damp microfiber cloth usually does the trick.

Handling delicate stems
Certain varieties—like tulips, lilies, and magnolia—are made from treated foam for a soft, natural feel. These shouldn’t be exposed to water. If they get marked, a baby wipe can typically clean them without causing damage.

Keeping them out of strong sunlight
Even high-quality faux blooms can fade if left in direct, prolonged sunlight. While they’re built to last, UV exposure will gradually reduce their vibrancy. If placing them near a sunny window, keep an eye on how much light they’re getting.

Storing between uses
If you switch out arrangements or store stems for a while, wrap them loosely in tissue paper and place them in a breathable container. Avoid packing them too tightly—petals keep their shape better with a bit of space. Store them somewhere cool and dry, steering clear of areas with fluctuating temperatures like attics or basements.
